Predated Eggs

I found 7 of these broken eggs scattered around the former waste tip to the South (Area 6).

I'm assuming the magpies (11 in the area) took them here to eat. They have been predated as the

marks are large and inward. If they had hatched you would see a finer circle and the egg in two.

They are quite probably the eggs of the domsestic greylags nesting on the main pond.
